In May of 2014, I had the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua to help build a well for people in a remote village who don't have access to clean drinking water. It's hard to fathom that there are still those in our world today that lack this basic need. This painting was inspired by those (especially children) who get to experience clean drinking water for the very first time.
